This giant plastic turd worked perfectly for about a year then decided that my life was too easy and started making hard drive sounds and refused to start up.

I’m extremely glad this happened because it gave me the opportunity to spend countless hours taking to nerds in message forums, here’s the problem that is apparently too complicated for the mac forums…

I just installed a new internal hard drive (seagate sata/300) after my previous one seized up (audible clicking sounds, blinking question mark folder on startup) Disk utility will recognize it and let me properly partition and change the volume format, however the new hd will not show up as a startup disk.

Just think, if you buy this wonderful machine, you can just copy and past the above question to ask forums, FREE OF CHARGE!

And who cares if this computer doesn’t work, just having this in your home says to your friends “hey look at me, I have a mac so I’m infinitely cooler than you could ever hope to be and now I own the worlds most expensive night light”
